Penelope & Monica Cruz: Mongo Fashion Line
Jul 23rd, 2007Penelope Cruz and her sister, Monica, have teamed up with fashion label Mango to release their debut Autumn/Winter line of clothing and accessories.
The sisters designed an ultra-sexy line of fall/winter clothing for Spanish design house, Mango (MNG). The collection consists of jeans, sweaters, tees and accessories. The two actress/designers not only created the collection but will also star in Mango’s fall advertising campaign.
Penelope has said,
“This is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. We just had to find the right people to do it with. We’ve always loved clothes. We used to hide in the bathroom with fashion magazines and say, I want that oneĀ.”
The pair spent the past few days traveling their Spanish homeland to participate in promotional events and press conferences before the slated September 16 launch date.
